Cross-campus Loan Service & Book Request Service

The regulations of cross-campus loan and request books from closed stacks

The cross-campus loan service is available for NTNU faculty and students, limited to Main Library, Gung-Guan Library, and Lin-Kou Library. The book request service is for the collection in the second closed stock. This service is available for NTNU library and outside patrons.

Patrons can make use of our cross-campus loan service to borrow items stored in other campus (up to 8 volumes per month). Just place your requests online and from the next day of requesting, you will be informed of the result by an E-mail notice and in "My Library Account" area within 3 working days. The book request from the second closed stacks will be kept for one day.

If the item status is "Ready", please pick it up at the Circulation Desk as soon as possible. We will keep the item for you up to 4 days. You will not be allowed to borrow it if you do not collect it in due time twice or more and will be suspended from using this service for 15 days if you break the rule twice.

Returning books to any NTNU libraries

For saving time from traveling between cross-campus libraries and facilitating the library use, all the library books borrow from the Main Library, Gung-Guan Library and Lin-Kou Library can be return to any of the three libraries.

When looking for the book on the catalog and the record shows “in transit,” it means that the book is returned to other library and is in transit to the original library. If you need the title, please contact the circulation counter at the Main Library, Gung-Guan or Lin-Kou Library.
