Loan Rules for Media Resources

The media resource needs to be borrowed and returned at the circulation desk. Please do not return it to the book drop. The number of the item borrowed is included in the user's loan limits.

Borrowing public performance licensed resources
  • The public performance licensed media resources are for use in the library. The full-time (or part-time) teaching faculty can borrow the public licensed resources for teaching or educational purpose. They can borrow up to five items for seven days. There is no grace period, but the borrower can renew the item once online. No reservation service for public performance licensed resources. If the teaching faculty could not come to the library to borrow the item personally, one could fill out the form of authorization for the recipient, assistant or research team, to take the teaching faculty's ID card and the form to check out the item from our library.
  • If the loan is overdue, each item (identified with the barcode) is charged with NT$5 fine each day and the borrower will be stopped from borrowing new items till the overdue item is returned. If the item is not returned after several recalls, the borrower will be asked to pay for the compensation according to the library regulations.
Borrowing general media resources
  • The general media resources can be checked out from the library. Each library user can borrow three items for seven days. There is no grace period and cannot be renewed. The number of the item borrowed is included in the user's loan limits.
