Reserve & Recall Books

You can reserve an item online. You will receive an E-mail from us when the item that you have reserved is ready for you. You have 7 days to pick it up at the Circulation Desk.

Please be aware that any of your Loan books can be recalled for another borrower at 14 days notice. You will receive an email from us to warn you that the item has been recalled. You have 14 days from the recall date to return it. Failure to do so will result in fines being charged at a rate of NT $5 per item per day.

Renew Books

You can renew the items that you have out on loan online under the following conditions:

  • All items that you have out on loan are not overdue.
  • You are not suspended from borrowing.
  • The item that you would like to renew is not reserved by other patrons.
  • The item that you would like to renew is not overdue.

The due date will automatically extend for a further loan period when you renew the items. Please remember the new date.

To renew the items you have out on loan, sign in to "My Library Account" and then click on "Loans". A list of all the items you have out on loan will be displayed. You can renew an item at a time by selecting the item and following the instructions, or you can renew them all at once by clicking on the "Renew All" button.

Please be aware that

  1. If your loan records do not show or you forgot your PIN, please contact staff of the Circulation Desk.
  2. Please check your loan records after you complete renewals to ensure the renewals succeed.
