Content | Biomedical images are often found to unintentionally repeat or replicate within the same article or across different articles by the same author. During the peer review process, there is a significant amount of research images to review, with biomedical cell images and electrophoresis images being particularly difficult to distinguish. By uploading the manuscript and images to ImaChek, and utilizing the system's automated screenshot and detection analysis for the uploaded image data, a report can be generated to check for possible concerns of image duplication or manipulation within the paper. This tool is suitable for individuals with peer-review requirements, such as experienced researchers, principal investigators, co-authors, corresponding authors, academic publishers, and editorial units, to ensure the originality and accuracy of images and to help to verify and maintain the reputation and credibility of institutions and authors. Applicants: professors, researchers, phD and master students at the NTNU Tutor video: https://reurl.cc/qLkVQp If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Ms. Chen at NTNU Library.
