1st floor facility

  • Book Return
    The Book Return is on the left-hand side of the main gate. The patron can return the borrowed book to the Book Return. The library will return all the books the next day and set the return date to the day before. Only the NTNU library books can be returned to the Book Return. Please check before returning. If the book is mis-returned, the patron is responsible for the consequence.
  • E-Learning Commons
    On the first-floor atrium. There are 12 computers for NTNU library patrons to use for information retrieval, digital learning and others. Please register at the counter before use.
  • Multimedia Resources center
    On the first-floor atrium. There are 18 audio-visual equipment for NTNU library patrons to use for the audio-visual media. Please register at the counter before use.
  • Copy/Printing/Scanning
    There is a Multi Function Printer outside the discussion room on the first-floor for NTNU library patrons.
  • Group Study Room
    There are 2 individual rooms and one room that shares the space with the Group Media Room. It is for group study discussion use. It requires at least three users to reserve the room (for the day only). Please make a reservation online or register at the counter before use.
  • Group Media Room
    There are 2 individual rooms and one room that shares the space with the Group Study Room. It is for the use of audio-visual media. It requires at least three users to reserve the room (for the day only). Please make a reservation online or register at the counter before use.
  • Conference Room
    There are 20 seats. Projector and a whiteboard are available for class teaching or department meeting use. Please make a reservation online or register at the counter before use.
  • Multi-purpose Periodical room
    For class teaching only. The service is open to faculty to borrow during weekdays from 8.00 to 17.05 in the semester. Weekends are not available. Please make a reservation online or register at the counter before use.

2nd Floor Facility

  • Study Room
    There are six Study Rooms. The long-term use is one-month maximum. The application is open from the first to the fifteenth of each month for the next month's reservation. If the application exceeds the rooms available, priority will be given to the applicant that has not used this service. The same room can take up to two applicants at a time to share the room in different time periods. The long-term use of the research room is not open to undergraduate students. The short-term reservation is for one day. The application opens on the day and for one user per room. For visiting scholar and researcher that has special needs, they need to submit the special project application and received approval to use the Study Room.Special project application form
  • Free Network Area
    There are 25 computers for readers’ information retrieval and digital learning. No registration is required.

3rd Floor service and facilities

  • Study Area
    Around 150 seats for reading and study.
  • Screening Room
    There are 69 seats and equipment including a projector, whiteboard, and microphone. The screening room is available for enjoying multi-media or speech. Please make the reservation online or visit the circulation desk one week before the event.
